Mr. Banica is founder, president and CEO of Synodon Inc., an Edmonton-based IT company focusing on gas detection technology. Mr. Banica brings a strong history of engineering experience forward featuring nearly 10 years experience in mostly senior technical roles with firms in Ottawa and Edmonton. Most recently, Mr. Banica drove Synodon to a top-three finish in Economic Development Edmonton’s VenturePrize business plan competition, topping nearly 75 other companies that entered.
